Fraternal Order of Police
Minutes December 6th, 2011
The regular monthly meeting was held Dec 6th, 2011, at the Knights of
Columbus in Hollidaysburg PA.
All lodge officers were present except President Kovel, Trustee Bob Kovel, and
Guard Johns.
Vice President (VP) Cornelius led the members in attendance with the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Chaplain Flanagan gave the opening prayer.
MOTION
made by Brother Neal and second by Brother Hawk to deviate from normal business
so guest speaker Dan Mcintyre from Aflac could address the members. Motion
passed.
MOTION
made by Brother Neil and second by Brother Leon Wagner to waive the reading of
the previous minutes. Motion passed.
SICKNESS
REPORTS OF FINANCIAL SECRETARY/TREASURER
Treasurers report provided by Brother Cunningham. Special Accounts report
provided by VP Cornelius.
MOTION
made by Brother Neal and second by Brother Hawk to accept the reports. Motion
passed.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Vice Pres. Cornelius spoke about the Lodge gun raffle.

made by brother Friedenberger and second by brother Flanagan to accept the
report. Motion passed.

to accept Carmack for Associate Membership by brother Leon Wagner and second by
brother Clark. Motion passed
READING OF COMMUNICATIONS
Vice President Cornelius read a letter received from an organization requesting
support for Hunting for Heros. The organization is in the state of Missouri and
enables serious wounded/injured in the line of duty police officers the chance
to hunt.
UNFINSIHED BUSINESS -
None
GOOD OF THE ORDER
Vice President Cornelius and brother Friedenberger spoke about the current
Budget issues. Discussion was also held relative the upcoming PSTA elections and
issues regarding members running for the same.

made by brother Hawk and second by brother Osman to pay the bills against the
Lodge, Motion passed.
MOTION
made by brother Leon Wagner and seconded by brother Hetzel to Adjourn. Motion
passed.
Chaplain Flanagan gave the closing prayer.
