The regular monthly meeting was held April 6^th 2010 in Everett PA at the Union Hotel.

All lodge officers were present except Chaplain Flanagan, Trustee Robert Kovel and Conductor Weimer.

President Kovel led the members in attendance with the Pledge of Allegiance and gave the opening prayer.

MOTION made by Brother Neil and second by Brother Leon Wagner to waive the reading of the previous minutes. Motion passed.

SICKNESS AND DISTRESS – Brother John Mowery’s mother passed away as well as Brother Steve Benton’s Father.

A donation will be sent in lieu of flowers to the Kidney foundation for Mowery’s mother and to the Cancer society for Benton’s father.

REPORTS OF FINANCIAL SECRETARY/TREASURER – Treasurers report provided by Brother Cunningham, Special accounts report provided by Vice President Darrin Cornelius.

MOTION made by Brother Sneath and second by Brother McCormick to accept the reports. Motion passed.

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES – None

BALLOTING OF CANIDIDATES – Applications for Associate Membership for Steve Minnigh of Bedford PA, and Henry Block. Dues paid in full.

MOTION made by brother Blackburn and second by Brother Chaney to accept the applications. Motion passed.

READING OF COMMUNICATIONS – President Kovel discussed the events for the National and State Memorial.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS – Retirement gifts. Lodge created a certificate of retirement which will be inserted into a certificate plaque and presented to retired Lodge members which have not received acknowledgment since the last retirement gift was given out.

MOTION made by Brother Blackburn and second by Brother Friedenberger for Secretary Evans to have certificates and plaques purchased for retirement gifts. Motion passed.

NEW BUSINESS – None

GOOD OF THE ORDER – Brother Cigich, Mcgarvey, and Hetzel will be going to National Memorial.

MOTION made by Brother Friedenberger and second by Brother McCormick to not have a July Meeting due to the family picnic. Motion passed

MOTION made by Brother Friedenberger and second by Brother Cornelius to send the maximum number of delegates to the May Round Robin. Motion passed.

MAY Round Robin dates the 18, 19, and 20^th at The Omni Resorts, Bedford Springs Hotel.

MOTION made by Brother Hartman and second by Brother Johns to pay the bills against the Lodge, Motion passed.

MOTION made by Brother McCormick to Adjourn, second by Brother Miller, motion passed.

2010 FOP State Convention scheduled for Aug 8^th – 12^th, 2010 in Philadelphia PA.

MAY meeting scheduled in Huntington on May4th at Alexandria VFD at 7:30PM
